Rob started with the Fire District on 01/02/2007.

2011 will be my 17th year in the fire service. I started out as a volunteer for 1 ½ yrs and worked up through the ranks over the next 15 ½ yrs to my current position of Deputy Fire Chief. Most of my career was in Pinellas County Florida which is next to Tampa, Florida. I am a Nationally Registered and Colorado & Florida State Paramedic and currently registered with the National Board of Professional Fire Service Qualifications as a Fire Officer 2. Over the years I have been certified in a wide variety of fields like Hazardous Materials Technician, Rope Rescue, Fire Service Engineer and Aerial Operator, Safety and Survival Instructor for firefighters, International Code Council and Colorado State Fire Inspector. I got into the fire service because it was something I always enjoyed even as a child as well as helping people in their time of most need. Every male on my father’s side of the family have been firefighters so being in the fire service was in my “blood”.
